Hinduism or Hindu culture doesn't differentiate any other religion and people. Hinduism always accepted and welcomed rest of the people.
We should be proud to say that, Hinduism / Hindu culture is more secular than any other religion or any other Political party, by giving to award to a Muslim painter. we are not looking @ the religion in the art, but the art form in the painting.
Also to note. we had a Muslim President, who embraced Hindu culture and scriptures. which highlight the value of Hindu culture.
