If I would have made mistake of forgetting the passport in which the visa was stamped, I would have begged the immigration official and then if he doesnt accept kicked my own butt for forgetting the visa. You can't do a mistake and demand others to be linient(You can only hope if you are lucky). Well imagine what if all the passengers start forgetting their visa's and expect the immigration officials to figure out if they are genuine or not??. Regarding the srilankan ministers, he was lucky or may be someone was ready to vouch for him, that doesnt mean everyone could have the same. Above all, I don't think any INDIAN will be permitted to US if he forgets his american visa!!!.
