indian rule
by sheetal mishra on Aug 11, 2007 04:02 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

the stupid indian officials dont know the rules of immigration. The rule for temporary landing permits. The customs officials in the international indian airport are the most corrupt and inefficient people. I dont know why the indian govt asks the cheif commisioners of customs to take care of training the cheap customs low cadre officers who beg money in the form of uniform. This is really the stupid. The indian govt. should come heavily on the officials at the airport to honest and corruptless if india wants to shine. Now india is shinning because of global people, not for indian who stays there in india.

Ms. Mishra, please we don't want your shining. Keep your shining for the country where you stay. India is a country which belongs to the people who stay in India.

Mr. Rathi, I don't think you have any right to say that since everyone who was born in India has equal rights. She is not wrong and I think you should mind your own business. Now don't tell me that I should cause if I were I would not be replying to your post.

Jag, your post does not makes makes sense.Honestly dude, are you for real ? Everyone Indian citizen has equal. Any citizen who has forgone his/her India citizenship doesn't have same rights as me in India. Anyways if she is Indian citizen doesn't matter while replying to her post on internet. It is on a public forum and I am well within my right and BUSINESS to reply if feel something wrong has been said. Dude, learn to to make a coherent point and then say something. Even if you don't worry, don't worry I won't ask you to mind your business. You are well within your right to do so.

When they do their jobs you blame them. Will the US permit U to land in a similar situation ? Think before starting ..."all Indians are corrupt"

Jayprakash,
The US officials won't allow you, but your son might have a chance. And moreover the laws in US are the same for everyone. It's that which makes the difference. Did you read the article properly? The Srilankan minister was allowed in a similar kind of situation.

I have myself faced a similar situation in the same Kolkata airport. I am living in Dubai since 5 years now and have a permanent residence visa. Once they stopped me as, according to them, they were not able to read a stamp in my passport.
I am using the same passport since 10 years now and have been to so many places across the world. And wot... the man in the immigration counter took Dirhams 10 as bribe from me and let me pass!!!!! Can u believe this!!!! Bloody fanatics!!!!
