Respect the law of the land!
by on Aug 11, 2007 04:45 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Americans call us 'Aliens' and they wouldn't have treated us any different if we were landing in the US without a valid visa. You are not an Indian citizen so back off from commenting about Indian immigration laws. Your daughter was refused entry because of lack of proper documents and not because she posed a threat. I'm sure if you were travelling to the US, you wouldn't dare forget your documents, would you? You think India is easy in such matters? If you cannot respect that, stay in your own country of adoption and eulogise their ways but don't bad mouth another country (which might have been your motherland at one time).

Rediff, if you have any respect for our country stop publishing such articles

not well said, at all. israeli immigration would never mistreat a jew, specially a female jew, regardless of anything.neither would the german immigration d it to a german orgin person from other country. india is a natural homeland for the hindus - or should be. it is clear india rather have zillions of illegal bangladeshis (who can't be deported by indian legal system) than a 12 year old pretty hindu girl to whom india means so much, and most likely would do something for india in usa. quite apparently the hindus in india are happy to go down the path to drain.
