VICE PRESIDENT ELECTION
by Sujan Kumar Saraswati on Aug 10, 2007 11:41 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

It is ironical that in the so called biggest democracy in the world, the positions of chief executive and his deputies are reserved, only the reservation criteria changes from time to time. Sometimes the prospective candidate has to be a Muslim, sometimes it has to be a women, sometimes he/she has to be dalit. However the candidate must not be somebody, who has contributed to the society or to some particular profession or somebody who has made any sacrifices for the country.

First of all who have made any sacrifice for the country lately, i mean from the present generation.... all politicians are looters.... eating all taxpayers money.

Secondly, reservation criteria has been made or followed in the shadow - because the Indian society is like that only. Some say, they are super, some are inferior, middle, or whatever. Once we have a Nation where all citizens are equal or treated equally, then we can do away with the rotation systems.

Aur kya?
