The United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government is in minority in Parliament as far the nuclear deal is concerned. The Government will not be able to get the agreement ratified in Parliament. The Left only oppose the deal in Parliament categorically and decisively. They must go to people and mobilise them against the deal. UPA will pay a heavy political price, if UPA still wants to pursue the deal. Not only the Left parties, but also of people as a whole oppose the Nuclear deal.
The nuclear deal cannot be seen as an isolated incident. It was part of a larger strategic alliance that the U.S. was trying to forge with India. UPA should clarify to people what was the common strategic goal of India and the U.S.
The U.S. launched its onslaught on Iraq as part of its designs to gain control over the oil reserves in West Asia. It is with the same goal that it is now targeting Iran. India must not share the same intentions.
UPA seemed to be thinking that India could become a "great power" with the support of the U.S. But they forget the price that India will to pay to receive the U.S.' assistance. UPA tries to make India a junior partner of the U.S.-led imperialist alliance.
The previous NDA regime started the initiative in forging a strategic alliance with the U.S., and the present UPA Government appeared to be completing them. And yet, the Common Minimum Programme of the UPA does not mention anything about strategic partnership with the U.S.
NO ONE DARES TO CROSS AMERICA, THE EUROPEAN UNION, JAPAN, KOREA & TAIWAN ARE ALL SOLIDLY BEHIND THE USA. EVEN CHINA & RUSSIA KEEP QUIET BECAUSE THEIR FOREIGN INVESTMENT COMES FROM THE USA & EUROPE. THUS AMERICA IS ALL POWERFUL.

Sir: You are sorely as well as grossly mistaken and probably misinformed. The communists of India only bark, they do not bite.
They are the hypocrites of the highest order and shed only crocodile tears. They should be ignored and should not be taken seriously. They first object the UPA programmes and then support whole-heartedly all the UPA programs and also support anti-poor and anti-people policy

listen to all.ignore what is not needed.healthy criticism shall be appreciated.communists will never leave the UPA.they have no say.even in west bangal they can not take bold decisions.the policies they followed has lead w.bengal to this stage. all so called leaders in the opposition speak for sake of opposition.we don't have stock of uranium,so we have to depend on suppliers.let us at this moment shake hand with u.s.a.we must not be dictated by u.s.a as for as foreign policy is considered, because there is no mention in the agreement.india should tender good advice to iran and u.s.a.if the world is peaceful, every nation will prosper.already policies have given birth to terrorism.this terrorism is being financed by hidden hands.perhaps u.s.a knows it,because of this it can keep hold on many nations.india must invest in education, health and technical training at i.t.i level.if we prosper then no one can dictate.india needs u.s.a and u.s.a needs for support, but it will never make permanent member of U.N.BECAUSE U.S.A DOES NOT WANTS TO GIVE EQUAL STATUS.but time is not far off, when whole world will appreciate our policies except pakistan.pakistan will oppose us on all forums.let us hope for the bright future of india.
ITS STRANGE THAT THOSE FOLKS INHABITING MUD-HUTS IN CALCUTTA AND SUBSITING ON FREE FOOD RETIONS FROM MOTHER TERESA'S CHARITY HAVE THE TEMERITY TO CRITICIZE THE US OF A.
