Study should not be ignored
by BahujanHitay BahujanSukhay on Aug 10, 2007 09:30 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Dear Friends, It is important to study the effects of new devices like mobile phones on the health of general public when its use is increasing day by day. We are habituated to accept blindly whatever abroad people are doing in their research. I think, the sample survey conducted at PGIMER should be funded by Min.Health and Min.Communication to make sure that there is no harm to Indian public in general and the study should be rigrous in nature befor arriving on any conclusion. The step taken should be encouraged rather than discouraged by citing western countries research which would always be limited/constrained by their less population and hence less credibility.

One of the published research which I cited was done in India. I did not tell that we should believe whatever the western researchers says. I just made it clear that the research should be done using the correct method. And it should be reviewed before making it public

What makes you believe that research wasn't done? Is it because they didn't bother to present to you?
