I think it is not safe to donate money to the CM's or PM's relief funds. It will definitely be diverted for other purposes. One should think what happened to the crores that were donted to the CM's relief fund when Tsunami struck Kerala. Still, the people in those areas are homeless. The beneficiaries were those people who live in areas where there is no coast line. So, if some one wants to help the flood victims, it should be through some organizations like the Red Cross.
It is nice to hear that Mr.Calvin wants to help victims, I suggest Mr.Calvin to go personally and meet the victims then handover to them If possible or else find some organisations to handover.
If you want to give to State Relief Fund then i'm sure that your money goes by 90% and 10% reaches to them.
