Dear Mr.Tamil thambhi, first of all try to know that 7 kannadigas has got 'Gnanapeeth award'.Kannada is as old as ur tamil n obviously we love our language, be happy and courteous that kannadigas has given tamilians place in slums of bangalore to live where u ppl deserve, and regarding IT i need not say..our own Narayana Murthy founded Infosys. Finally a glimpse of history.. ur gr8 kings cholas were defeated and captured by our Mayura Varma king of kadambas..better watch Rajanna's movie 'Mayura'..Grow up tamilians and try to learn professionalism by seeing Kannadigas..

This is too much..people talking on regional bias....trying to prove themselves to be better....we are all INDIANS and we should br proud to be INDIANS. KANNADIGAS,TAMILS,MALAYALIS,MARATHIS,BENGALIS COMES NEXT.... WE FOUGHT FREEDOM AS ONE AND WE SHOULD CONTINUE AS ONE...COZ THE ENEMY'S ARE AROUND US..TO DIVIDE US.. THERE ARE GOOD THINGS IN KANNADA AND IN TAMIL
TAMIL IS THE OLDEST LANGUAGE AND KANNADA HAS BEEN STRONG IN LITERARY ARENA THAN ANY OTHER LANGUAGE..PROBABLY BENGALI CAN BOAST OF THE SAME. TAMIL HAS NUMEROUS GREAT LITERARY WORK WHICH NO OTHER LANGUAGE MATCHES. TAMILS AND KANNADIGAS HAS L;IVED TOGETHER FOR YEARS AND SHUD LIVE WITH OUT ANY REGIONAL BIAS...IF WE WERE MERE REGIONAL PEOPLE WE WD NOT STAND UP WHEN OUR NATIONAL ANTHEM IS PLAYED!!!!!!!!

I was working in HAL 3 yrs in bangalore.. u know what you take any leading companied in bangalore..all top level resources are from tamil nadu or west bengal..you kannadigas are just labours..that too the common opinion about kannadigas are they don't work hard ..they eat well..sleep well.but they don't work..
So you watch your filthy mouth before talk about tamilians..

HI GUYS, No place of regional chauvanism for people like us.We want to develop, contribute to our society and be proud that we are indians and be united. It is the regional rivalry which had cost us everything when mughals came and then with east india company.Leave these cheap talk to politicians like devagowda and some shiv sena elements.I have lived in madras as well in mysore.I found more similarities than differences.

very true, Mr Balamurali.. i completely agree with you. i speak four indian languages, and had been with many people. i personally have lived in karnataka for more than half of my childhood, and the later part in tamilnadu... i dont see many differences between the two states.. infact we are very very similiar in many things...
and even if we are different in few things, cant we still live together in harmony... forget the past... and move towards prosperity. lets all grow together....
