The Govt. of India deducts education cess from the hard working honest tax payers of India. It should answer as to how this money has been used by the HRD ministry under the idiotic & brain dead Arjun Singh. Why is that none of the politicians send their children to be educated to the innumerable govt. schools in the country? Why do they not have their children educated in the vernacular medium? Why is that the govt. schools in the country are in such pathetic state? Why is it that even the poor & backward people if given a chance would prefer to send their children to private english medium schools if given a chance rather than a govt. or vernacular one? Whom should the State subsidise, a poor so called upper caste student or a rich OBC one?
Looking at the morass in the education sector in India & the way politicians are screwing it up further, it looks like the only solution is what the communists would surely admire ( ie. Stalinist solution) ; send all these self serving, casteist & communal politicians to reducation camps in the most inhospitable areas of India or have them shot.

It is heart breaking to see Indians killing the Indians, leave apart national growth and security, our thinking has still not grown, its the same when British people came , infact people like us do not deserve independence.
First we fought on Hindu -Muslim divide, then we fight for Brahmin-Dalit divide, Further, its gonna be state/region divide and then it would be my house ur house divide....we have very low morals and we say that we are proud of Indian Culture and Heritage...is this our culture??

Hey fire desire, grow up man, 'an eye for an eye will leave the whole world blind'!
Going by your logic, why restrict tit for tat only to Brahmins? See for yourself how funny this logic is when extrapolated to other things : 1. India should somehow suppress Britain because the British suppressed India for hundreds of years.
2. All hindus should take revenge on muslims because of the atrocities committed by zealot muslim rulers like Aurangzeb
3.Israel should declare war on Germany for the holocaust
4. All countries in central and south asia should take revenge on Greece for what Alexander did.
5. India should attack China and Mongolia for what Chengez Kahn did
......... you can imagine the long list of 'tit for tat'.
Can such primitive logic be the basis for state policy?

I fully agree with human, brahmins do not suppress or exploit, except in movies. It is actually so called OBCs who suppress dalits. But of course rural India socializes in terms of caste, which we need to change. But, how do you plan to change that while focusing on dividing the reservation pie ?

Well Inadvertently Human, your being a Brahmin, fully explains your position and why you have chosen to turn a blind eye on the oppression. To make way for Brahmins, the Dalits had to attach a broom to their backs, so they swept away even their footsteps in case Brahmins tread on it. Why do you think, scavengers - people cleaning toilets are mostly Dalits, you think they chose it as an ideal profession. Come on!! open you eyes and stop letting you birth status challenge you intellect.
