A highly derogatory clause for india was not mentioned in the above article. India is agreeing to IAEA safeguards in perpetuity, i.e. no matter who terminates the agreement for whatever reason, india cannot use the nuclear fuel/material for its own purpose. This clause is binding and there is no escape from it forever. In a nutshell the US can scrap this deal at will and India is left holding a bunch of reactors without fuel. These reactors cannot be used for any other purpose forever. Only nutcase govt. employees can agree to such a deal

dude when one side withdraws from the agreement the whole agreement is gone. India did not sign this deal with 20 nations. It is only with US. so if US withdraws the agreement is just a paper with signature. so all bets are off. Iran has signed such an agreement with entire world via NPT and they are not able to do squat. If Iran can wag its tail, India could wag the dog.

you are absolutely & we should not forget we live in dangerous neighbourhood.
Was China ever a friend???????? Pak-nuclear program is all China sponsored so also their missile program- (N-Korea is Chinese puppet).
We certainly need to befriend USA, look how Germany & Japan prospered. Gandhiji is a saint but China has language problem, they believe in "power generates in the barrel of a gun...."
