Vamsee is another Manmohan Singh
by SatyaMeva Jayate on Aug 05, 2007 11:10 AM   Permalink

I see Vamsee as a weak hearted sentimentalist with a volatile memory.

Vamsee mentions:
"Their moral universe knows that Sanjay has more than paid a price for what was a momentary lapse, not even of conscience, but of judgment."

Even if that was a momentary lapse, how on earth Vamsee can justify Sanjay's contacts with underworld a good seven years after the Mumbai bomb blast (recorded conversation between Sanjay and underworld in 2000).

Vamsee says:
"And it seems, most of all, an utter shame and waste that a man whose work has done more than any other leader or celebrity to revive a passion for Mahatma Gandhi in this country should be locked away."

If Sanjay follows Gandhian principles, he would have acted in the movie without accepting a salary. But, every one knows he accepted crores of Rupees for this movie.

So, Sanjay being told as a Gandhian, do-gooder, innocent at heart are total bull.

I do not understand why people like Vamsee, Manmohan Singh etc., lose sleep and peace of mind over criminals and terrorists.
