Shenoy, I agree with you. Sanjay dutt is definitely not a role model. Anyone who thinks the sentence is harsh, should consider the suffering of the families of the ppl died in the blast. he definitely deserves to be in jail for what he did. if he had informed the police about the mobilization of weapons by abu salem and others, probably the blast wouldnt even have occured.

Please get your facts straight. What does Sanjay's possession of the weapon have to do with the blast victims. He has been cleared from having anything to do with the blast. The sentence of six years under the Arms Act is simply for the possession of the illegally acquired weapon, and not for any intent or actual use. Your message and tone suggests that his punishment should reflect the suffering borne by the blast victims, which would be unfair.
