I hope ...

Well,Mr Shenoy has done a fine job bringing out almost all the facts n watever had been left out has been covered in subsequent posts.Im glad that everyone is coming to terms with reality.Afterall only those people take the pain of writing and expressing their views who although are unhappy with the way the administrative system works in our country at times but at the same time they are optimistic about the future. The Law is definitely above all..celebrities,the common man, police officials, the bureaucracy and the most hard working n most deserving of em all(all puns intended) our modern day politicians !! But its ironical how some(or fer that matter, numerous) criminals like mohinder singh pandher(Noida D-5 killings),mohd afzal, killers of prof sabherwal by the youth wing of the ruling party in a particular state, monica bedi(being acquitted of all charges) n a few days ago the acquital of dawood ibrahim's brother, not to mention the manu sharmas and the vikas yadavs who will eventually make it ..who we all know were freed because of the kinds of links they had.I do not mean to question Judge Kode's decision nor do i want to suggest that Sanjay Dutt is innocent and be freed so easily(knowing the fact that he has already bin in jail fer 1.4 years earlier).Im not a fan of Sanjay Dutt movies. But,dont u think when so many hardcore crinimals are going scot free, a sentence for 6 years is a litttle harsh on Sanjay and his family!! please, please think about it.

Mr. Nikhil

you are absolutely right. From a neutral point of view it is clear that S Dutt is being made a scapegoat. He had his punishment, now the law should be chasing the real thugs.
