CRPF man ends life GK NEWS NETWORK
Updated at 1840 hours IST Srinagar, Aug 2: A paramilitary CRPF man shot himself dead after being reprimanded by his superior in the CRPF camp in civil lines here on Thursday afternoon, sources said. They said Head Constable Gajendar Singh of 49 battalion approached his commandant R B Deswal with a leave application this afternoon. %u201CThe officer abused Singh and asked him to get out,%u201D the sources said, adding, Singh after coming out of the officer%u2019s room fired upon himself from a point blank range with his service weapon. He was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. CRPF spokesman Prabhakar Triphati said, %u201CA court inquiry has been ordered to probe the matter.%u201D
