sure, he is trying to grab votes ... but it just shows how he or senator Clinton can crucify an ally in war on terrorism for the sake of votes. Perhaps they have sensed it ... that Pakistan is NOT really an ally but an abettor of terrorism ... someone who needs to be kept out of the decision involving attacks on parts of Pakistan. BTW, US did bomb portions of Pakistan a while back and left Musharaff to deal with the radical islamists.
India was never a US ally, just a business partner. Pakistan has been an ally since the days of cold war.
