Indian Hindus shuld not celebrate the national festival like Independence Day, coz still Kashmir has not got freedom from Pakistan and Islam, we don't believe India got Independence till today...and we haven't celebrated yet...
Only if Kashmir got freedom from Pakistan and Islam, and If all muslims are evacuated from whole India we will celebrate...until we will not celebrate any National (or) Hindu festival...

Why do u follow Hinduism?..not bcoz u know everything about hinduism , u understand everything about it and u love it. But bcoz u have got it from ur ancestors.. if u were born in muslim family wat wud have been ur stand?
