Long time, (certainly more than a week) since I read a Gujarat story. And like I do these days, I am planning to come straight to the discussion board. I have yet to read the comments of others, but boy! am I salivating at the crude comments of the truly secular (as against the pseudo secs, or should it be non-secular :-) ), the truly weird comments and justifications for the Godhra tragedy and the aftermath riots, and most unforgivingly, the support for the Gujarat government's tacit complicity AND the stubborn refusal of the state citizenry to say SORRY for the gory carnade.
One doesn't have to be a Muslim sympathizer to be able to understand that humanity was sold off during the three days of absolute carnage that gripped Gujarat a few years ago. If, and it is pretty BIG IF, Godhra was premeditated, how much more so was the aftermath? And when spineless nimcompoops guttrally roar that it was a moment of Gujarat's pride, my head hangs in shame!
O my countrymen, my dear countrymen, awake, arise. Let not the shadow of injustice corrupt forever the milk of humanity that each of us posses. Look deeper, look sharper, know that we all did wrong and make amends. Till that time comes, all justifications and counter justifications are but shit that we throw up which falls on our face.

U have not menced a word about those killed in the train in Godhara. Were they not human being. Just because they were hindus, no body talking about those openly killed by the people know to everybody in and around godhra.
