They were never Gandhi's indeed... Indira Nehru was married to a Muslim.. Jawharlal was clever enough to get her the title of Gandhi as he knew it will benifit her politcally in future.. Many illiterate people think that they are related to Mahtma Gandhi!!! If they would retained thier actual Muslim title- they would not have existed politically by now!!!! Clever Jawherlal, Clever Indira.. Why Rahul does not point out this part of History in election campaigns when he takes credit for Bangaldesh creation... May be that is the reason why Sonia & Gang is always closer to Muslim vote bank???

Really! You have some nerve to actually comment on a name without checking on your facts. Let me give you a free history lesson: Indira Gandhi was married to Feroze Gandhi, who was a Parsi, and not a Muslim. Even if he were how does it matter. Rahul does not need a history lesson; you do.

Sorry friend, Indira was married to a Parsi, not Muslim and it is very unlikely that the name wouldn't have existed if it was a Muslim/Parsi name.The Indians are much better tolerant, though they have the ugly feature of hero worshipping
