The truth is Indira married Feroz Khan whose father was Muslim from Junagadh in Gujarat state & mother was of Parsi religion, thus Indira married son of Muslim father & Parsi mother. According to Indian customs bride automatically carries husband's surname after marriage. Hence Indira became Indira Khan after marriage. It was Mahatma Gandhi's suggestion to Nehru to change Feroze Khan's name to Feroze Gandhi to save Nehru from embarrasment among Indian public. Hence Feroz Khan became Feroz Gandhi & so is Indira Gandhi. Since then Nehru Family is reaping all undue benefits from innocent Indian & international public. Media should emphasize this truth & facts to the public to stop Khan family from fooling Indian public generation after generation. Sooner the public knows the truth the better it is.

I dont understand what "undue benefit" can anybody get by any surname, unless the respondents are really deeply castist themselves. How does it matter if Priyanka is Gandhi, Khan or Vadhera, to like or dislike her.

You are Right. Because other parties doen't have any issues so they make such false allegations. I think that the agenda should be some constructive rather then cheap allegations. This really doesn't matter that what is subcast of anybosy in todays world. She herself dening the surname and even them people making comments on her :)

Dear rajendra seems that you are internet savvy but do not keep yourself updated on the latest news ... she is not denying it on her own ... only few days back her husband in a TV interview in front of the media had insisted that she be called Vadera & no more gandhi ... after that she is now wanting to use her husband's surname ... at her last birthday celebrations all congressi netas had referred to her as gandhi in there hoardings & greetings ..

Thanks S On for updating me! I doen't understand that what do you want to prove? is there anything wrong that Priyanka and rahul are in politics. Do they doen't have right ot come in politics? whatever the issue is , weather her husband had asked the media or somthing else that is her personal matter.

by the way Mr rajendra kumar can you please tell what reply she gave that you felt so good ... in fact it was her husband who first objected few days back to calling her Gandhi & insited that she is Vadera now ... it was always the congressi netas who called them gandhi ... if they all really want to project there real surnames then even Rahul's real surname is not gandhi .... the truth seems to hurt you ... there real name is not Gandhi at all ... by a simple affidavit in court with the help of Mahatma Gandhi & Nehru ... they have adopted this surname & call them selves hindus ..

does it rally matter in life that who is Hindu and who is muslim? The people talking in this way can't be Indian . They can onlybe the enemy of the country. I am not interested in what is the real surname of priyanka and all gandhis , this really doesn't matter me. you can't deny the work done by there family for country
