India's Heritage some Mournful Thoughts of A thinking Mind....

Panchkula 4 pm. Wednesday, June 27, 2007,
Undersigned when young some half a century ago as an instructor of Philosophy at Colonial seat of British learning The reputed University of Allahabad used to incessantly read ,write and dream that one day this poorly paid student shall restore the honour of a lost Civilization, over the centuries of slavery and flunkeydom to unreal servility to Western supremacy, despite the reality of decolonisation.
Now at 73 yrs and as retired well-known teacher of Logic and Western philosophy and Indian Society the dream has vanished. I have dragged my carcass to an inconspicuous cabin in this non-descipt flat with books and pen paper sketching day & night the mordant follies of my Nation, Society and People..I wonder if we would ever be able to seek the glory of Mind , Reason ,Freedom and dignity of a Society determined to stand for its basic Soul of
Truth -Force...one that is same for the Upanishads , The great Athenian Socrates , Marcus Aurelios , Kant or Wittgenstein
and our own great seekers and Savants From Bhagwan Amitabh, Kabir , Guru Gobind Singh
Gandhi or Paramhans Mira or Andal
We are a conspiracy of the fifth rate copyists and Shastris and Ecclesiastic pseudo-Scholarship in the socalled 300 Indian Universities. Crassest mimicry and posturing runs and corrupts the imagination of the misguided boys and girls , on the campuses..
Crazy for silly unnatural aping of what is wrongly believed is cool or is in vogue in 'states

Good writing, a little bit more detailed and simplified writing would have been better.

Anyway thank you so much.
