My perspectivev is that Ghandian method was tried in SL but one cannot go practise that against a govt that does genocide. Britain did not do genocide against Indians. If SL had treated tamils fairly, this would not have happened. Also, they still refuse to treat tamils fairly. why is there no federal setup, why is buddism the official religion of SL, Why do sinhalas get more than their proportion of jobs, etc, etc. Until, the Sinhalease accept the tamilians as owners of the island, this was will go on. and I hope the Tamils wipe out the Sinhalease for this attitiude.

But Sinhalese are doing genocide against Tamils in ELLAM. TAMILs has to wipe out Sinhalese in lanka and rule their own land.

they did genocide occationally,say Jalian vala bagh ,Mutiny etc.But they didnt do it daily basis like lankans. Indian Govt have to do something for this whole issue, like separation of Bangadesh.IF indira gandi whould have lived for another 2 yrs,this problem whouldn't have been today.
Srilankans never be a supports of india in international arena.they always go against india in every issue.Even in India-chinees war ,lankans allowed chinees planes to fill fuel in their land. But at the same time another gr8 leader Selvanayagam collected money in every street of srilanka and finally sent it to Nehru to help indian people. Now think who is favouring indians.Not nesasarily all the point i metion here will be relevent to "RE:My perspective....from UP".I add some more points that all.

Dear Saravananan, Well said point. Tamil Great leader SELVANAYAGAM Struggled in Ghandian way for almost 2 decades. But lankans ignored him. Today the situation in Lanka is Tamils and Sinhalese cant live together.
Immediate solution is divide the country of lanka into two. Sinhalese are solely responsible for what it happening in that island and for Lanka's partition.
