I have lived in UP for 8 months. I am from south. I find the state is blessed with natural resources. But I suffered 8-10 hour power cut a day. If the same thing happens in south, MLAs will be thrashed. On other hand, I find my UP bhaiyas boasting of buying high-capacity invertors and showing it to others as status symbols. UP brothers! please emulate the south! thrash the MLAs [irrespective of the party] if they can't restore you with uninterrupted power.

The purchase is from ill gotten money so don't worry.The state suffers from nostalgia of bygone days when Govt officers were treated as mai Baap.The entire nortern belt has this problem of bloated ego & lack of transparency in dealings.It is also reponsible for sabotazing the good work done by Southern & Western states.

Absolutely right.but let's not make this into a regional issue.Every state has got some of those leeches who can do nothing but suck on common man's blood. I've been to south also and live in northern states also and everywhere the common man is very hardworking and honest. It is just those few dirty fishes in the pond who r trying to make the whole pond dirty.We should beware them not be like them by fighting between ourselves.
