Each and every part of the world belong to its occuppants , How the quality will affect by the reservation as long as passing citerion is same?????

The mind of our decision makers are still prejudiced, It is high time to all OBCs are to be united and fight against this unjustice.....

The antalacists after looting this country employed sepoys, they exonerated the antalicist as oppressors, and instead started the accusation that congress was hindu communal.

Barbarians are the oppressors.

My dear friend,

I would like to question one of your assumptions that passing criteria would remain the same and quality will not be affected...The IITs and IIMs that we are talking about, have a relative grading system (CGPA). If the average standard of the students go down, the passing criteria will simultaneously go down, hence the quality will invariably be affected. Hence in my opinion we need to have a stringent admission process and no compromise should be made with it. I sympathise with the injustice that has been made with SC/ST/OBC over the years and has resulted in keeping them economically backward. Hence I would advocate to provide them financial support for their higher education, rather then providing them direct reservation.

It seems that you are OBC, and want reservations so that you need not work hard to get good education and jobs...

Dear Mr. Haris ... hoping that you are at least literate ... the court has simply put a stay on the law stating that the 1931 census done by the British about 75 years ago can not be the basis of a reservation law ... if Arjun singh & company are that serious for the OBC then they should have passed / created the law after taking proper statistics & figures ... these Arjun singh & company only brought this law to win elections by creating vote bank ... still look they are not doing a proper statistical study but putting pressure on court only ...

You are interpreting wrong. The court is not against the reservation. Had so it might had blocked the SC/STs also. The court only want reservation for needy one only and not on the basis of caste, religion. I have seen influential progressive people who are now crying for reservation. I have also seen people who are in their sheer poverty and don't know how to utilise this.

So don't beg like a begger. If you are weak then law will take care of you otherwise stay away from begging. Only the influentials are crying. How could you say Mayawati a Dalit and downtroden when she is enjoying Z security and all the lavishness. How could you say that Mulayam is backword when he is engulfed with power money etc.

So clear your mind and be a proud Indian first and not a begger

No one is suppressing any caste. These professional institutions does not admit students by caste to make any reservation on that. Its matter of merit. For eg there are only 100 seats, in the current system...the top 100 rank holders get the seats. If reservation comes, then top 77 will be all castes and 27 Has to be OBC. that means.. there are 27 Other caste, may be forward class, who would have otherwise be selected, would be deprived of the seat through reservation. This is highly discouraging on brainy guys. If OBC should join these institutions.. do not get through quota,, be a topper in the entrance exam and get in to it..that way even if all are OBC who cares..in fact..I would appreciate.. BUT reservation...its a bad way of competing. its like announcing the victory before the game. something like match fixing.
