Hi friends, though all upper cast people are crying because of reservation as a human being first of see the situation of dalits in this country. Still they are not getting there basic needs. Please be broad minded. First of all help to change mentality of upper cast. Go and see how dalits are living in villeges. What type of work they has to do. How upper cast behave with them..I am a bramhin.. I faced reservation problem.. but please be borad minded and help our dalit brothers and sisters. Babasahen Aambedkar ki jai ho. JAY BHIM

We, Upper caste people are not against the reservation. The only problem is that it should not be based on caste but rather should be based on economic power.

I have no problem in poor people getting the benefit. But it has to be based on economic situation, and not on caste. Lots of rich dalits will get through with the quota, whereas poor 'upper castes' will suffer, if the govt. plan is put into place.

in village only dalits are not living, there are other so many castes who are living the life of low standard. moreover sc families have got the ladder of reservation in jobs and they have got the jobs and they and their family are financial sound but what about poor people of other caste. you did't bother about them. they don't have food to eat. morever dalits are themselves responsible for the so called bad condition of their society because when a dalit gets a job and further got promotion he forget his community he used to distance himself from their own community. he don't care for their own community members and wanted that govt. should do. he must not take the benefit of reservation when he comes in creamy laver and allow his other community members to take the benefit of reservation. but this is not happening only certain handfull of sc/dalit community people are getting the benefit of reservation every time and the actual needy person of their community are deprived of the opportunity to get jobs. this is the reason why after indepandet these communities still want reservation. and if this trend goes on i assure my dalit/sc community people that there is not going to change their status if reservation is continued for another 1000 years. they will still reamin like today just because of their own sc/dalit community creamy layer people. govt.should give direct financial support to these community and other poor people of upper class. sorry if my true points hurts you.

If at all the reservation is issued,so you think these dalits in the villages about whom you speak about will get admitted?Poor,they'll still remain the same,and those who have been enjoying these reservation rights since independence will continue doign so.I myself come from a Backward community,but,I find the present reservation totally baseless.....The section of people they say they are conceren about, are not even provided the basic amenities.This governement is trying to befool us, in the name of reservation,please understand,there is no positive motive in it...If they are very much concerned why should they straight away target for reservation in IITs and IIMs,let them first provide these people with proper food,nutrition and the basic educational facilities,then our fellow brothers and sisters will raise up themselves,without a reservation.Most of the Indian community only looks upon the reservation as a "handicap" to the Indian growth.Just think over,this is not a means to avoid Dalits or SC/ST from coming up that we are fighting back,but for the reason that the government is trying to exploit the standard and reputaion of the academia in India,in the name of reservation,please understand,please,this will not do any benefit to the people they say,they are targetting for.Upliftment of Dalit does not come by reservation,it only comes by proper treatment and the availability of basic amenities elsewhere..........

Hi.. The picture you are trying to project may not be the wrong one. (Myself and I think everybody else in India knows very well what it actually is)..
But how can anyone claim that reservations are doing any good to those underprivileged people if they haven%u2019t done in last 60(or for that matter 57) years??
You think nobody in India is aware (including those who make these laws) of the people who get the benefit of these reservation??
And is there anything in today%u2019s India, that may prevent the so called unfortunate people from their growth?? Why not give everybody a fair chance??
We have many examples like Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and Dr. Narendra Jadhav who reached have the top despite all the difficulties and without the help of reservation..
The honorable supreme court has done what was needed to be done long back.. The decision is right and should be supported by all communities of the nation. It is for our own and India%u2019s good.
Time to make everyone stand on their own feet, man!

To whom you are saying Jai. To a spiness man called Ambedkar.
He got educated with the help of uppter castes. He got all his positions due to upper castes only. He thenmaried to a Brahmin lady and said that it is a revenge! He was ill treated perhaps even after his so called achievement. To escape from this ill treatment of the upper castes, he opted for a short cut. To convert into a budhist.
Compared this with social reformer in Kerala. His name was Sri Narayana guru. He belonged to SC called 'Ezhavas'. Despite all the ill treatments he met with, he never deserted Hinduism. He fought against the evils of Hinduism staying within its fold. Ezhavas were not allowed to enter temple during those days. He then made a makeshift temple on the beach of a river and installed a 'Shiva's' diety. The upper casts brahmins came objecting to this act and threatened him. He simply answered them that the idiol he installed at this make shift temple was of a 'Ezhava Shiva' and it is not a brahmin shiva. so he has every right to install and worship this idiol. the brahmins had no answer to his argument. He led his community to fight against the upper casts and today, ezhavas enjoy a good status in the Kerala socieity.
Anyway, the topic here is something else, and many have already replied to them. I doubt very much whether you are a brahmin or not. A brahmin cannot think so stupidly.

You should see the condition of poor brahmins also. What about persons having good finnacial assets belongs to dalit. Problem is there but certainly this is not solution.

Mr.Milind, dont talk Bullshit. We are all for upliftment of the Dalits. But understand that this Reservation Drama is simply to make the sons and daughters of Karunanidhi,Paswan lalloo,Ramadoss and other undeserving Creamy Layers becoming richer using State Funds and without any Examination1! Understand this before writing!

WE ARE BROAD MINDED.I AGREE COUNTRY SHOULD PROVIDE THEM GOOD EDUCATION AND THEY ARE POOR THEY NEED HELP****BUT WE SHOULD GIVE TO NEEDY ALL OBC AND SC/ST ARE NOT POOR** THE GOVERNMENT HAVE PROVIDED THEM EVERYTHING FOR THE PAST 60 YEARS TELL ME HOW MANY SC/ST WHO HAVE COME UP HAVE TRIED TO UPLIFT ANOTHER SC/ST***ITS NOT 1 OR 2 YEARS GOVERNMENT HAVE HELPED THEM BUT 60 THAT MEANS 60 YEARS ITS 6 decade's.AND THE GOVERNMENT HAVE NO ACCOUNTABILITY. Hi, We are not against reservation. But the reservation should not be cast based. It should based on poverty level. What if you are a dalit having a sound money background, why should you get reservation. So if you are week then you should have monetary benefits not FREE IIT and IIM Seats
