It sounds very elite to talk of secularism but you need to first set your own house in order before you become preacher of secularism.
Some facts for the masses: 1. It was congress which in a bid to appease muslim clerics reversed SC order on Shah Bano Case. 2. It were congress goons who perpetrated one the worst massacres on sikh. 3. Congress always believed in 'Divide and Rule'.
If congress were so progressive and secular then we wouldnot have social tensions and ghettoism in the scale that we are seeing today. Congress doesn't care about majority (read hindus) because it knows that they vote on casteist lines. It doesn't care about christians as they don't vote on religious sentiments. Congress can go any length to woo muslim community as they are known to vote on religious lines (I don't blame them). Its because of congress differential and discriminating public policies that we saw rise of parties like BJP, VHP, Shiv Sena (all extremist parties)... BSP.
True secularism says no discrimination on basis of not only religion but also on basis of caste, creed and color. What govt. is doing in the name of social uplitment are only quickfix solutions?
1. Why majority of muslims are in backward condition? Govt. need to go at the root of the problem. Problem lies in educations. Still 95% of muslims go to madarsas which is totally unregulated. In absence of well accredited course curriculum, students out of these madarsas find it difficult to come in mainstream. What options then these young indians are left with? Its a vicious cycle of alienation.
2. Why Congress is not excluding creamy layers as reservation beneficiaries? Reservation policy has the backing of powerful lobby of OBC IAS and politicians. The percentage of actual OBCs (the real needy ones) who are going to benefit will be very low. Truth is there are no schools in the remote regions and if school is there then there are no teachers and students. I don't understand how reservation going to help these ppl.
Secularism is a total fraud perpetrated by the so-called-secular parties - congress and communists.

Dear Mr.Subbu, Have you Passed Maths in School. Even if I marry 4 girls or 1 girl the population is the same.. Say there are 4 girls if they are married to One Man they will have 2 children each which will count to 8 children in total, if the 4 girls marry 4 men also the number of chidren is 8.. So your Maths of Hum Paanch Hamare Pachees is just a Brain wash. If you look at the stats of Polygamous Marriages in India, Buddhists & ST comes First, second comes Hindus and third comes Muslims. It is allowed for Muslims to marry 4 but seldom they use it.. Take the classical example of actor Dharmendra, he has 5 children, 3 born to first wife and two to Hema Malini. And knowing all this you will acuse Muslims, Bcos you are sick..

Whether it is communalism or fundamentalism, it needs to be fought rationally.

I mean each family who have more than one kid.... If they follow your thinking.

You think majrity of Muslims are poor, may be you are correct but, have ever seen a Muslim dying without food.
Yes they may have 10-20 Children because they have very strong belief in GOD that they survive happily with his Grace... and to tell you facts though they are poor they are very very happy in their lives only becase of this strong belief. Then obviously they dont plan for their families
How do you know that I am sitting in a room and typing on a pc costing Rs 25000... I know this is true but, and I dont have be wondered for this... Same way boss, facts can not expressed some times. For your satisfaction please read the economic of all Muslim countries and India's also.......
And about complains, as you told, its about the some particular areas which really results to injustice...
See if you want keep your views for development of India, surely do that, but dont point any particular religion and their culture, their rule and dont hurt other's feeling without having knowledge or with having half knowledge...... This is what I wanted make understand to Subbu.

Madrasaa education, tells that even if you are hungry, poor, uneducated, have belief in allah and you will be fine. What nonsense is this joker ??
