becoz it shows how much value virgina state gives to indians.
That the state gives credit to people irrespective of their background while in India which state, religion, caste a person comes from is important.

Mr. Jaagobharat, we in India can't tolerate Biharis coming to Mumbai or North Indians coming to Bangalore, whereas the US accepts people from all over the world, can you wake up?

well, jaagobharat, the point is: nobody has stopped you from celebrating diwali there - except that you should not burst crackers and create noise. Isn't that fair?
.
While there may be a lot of discrimination there, your case does not suggest so. Or do you want them to stop celebrating xmas?

It is really amazing to see Indians celebrate their festivals like diwali or holi in America without anyone obstructing them. People are free to celebrate their festivals and follow their own cultures and traditions in foreign country. We belonging to same country still shamelessly fight over religions. We are more accepted in America rather than in India.American people do treat everyone equallyand respect others cultures and religions. If this is notso people from all over the world would not run to America.
