Iam writing this from Iran. Iam now a resident of Iran since 5 years now.Iam respected as as Hindu and an Indian first. There is no appeasment of minorities in Iran but they are respected and protected. There is a fairly a decent population of Sikhs and Hindus in Iran who are respected. Iam sorry to see such an article which pains me. Iam lucky to e in Iran though I love India. My fellow indians, i request you to kindly see the hypocracy and pseudo secularism that the congress has been contributing to India for decades. Pathetic!!

Dear Mr Bhaskar,
You are misinformed about Iran. Its a great country and civilisation. There is a gurudwara, Krishna mandir. The local Iranians know only know us Indians as HINDIS not as a muslim or Hindu.You need to understand that the politicians in india have created this mess of Hindu and muslim in the indian subcontinent.Yes i agree that there has been incidents earlier which caused misery to the nation. But my only point, my bengali brother that its only in India that religion is used as a tool against people for votes and gains. You are educated and iam sure you will understaqnd that there is not a single incident of Hindus or sikhs getting mistreated in Iran. Pls open your eyes . Im just conveying my views. For your information Pakistan and Afghanistan is viewed as communal by the Iranians. Iran is a country of noble people who stand by their country.Yes its islamic but they dont use it against their own people and against the national interest.

Well. I cany contribute more than this as iam comfortable iran and iam respected here and never got the feeling that iam an hindu which matters a lot.For your information, Iran supported India during the kargil conflict and offered Air basees in Zahedan, baluchistan province of Iran.India and Iran have joint military pact signed during Presinedt Khatamis visit and Mr Atal Behari Vajpayee.What is your view on that??my friend.

Bhaskar why are u not accepting the facts. A person who is staying in Iran is writing and still u r not accepting it.
