i dont want to get into nitty gritties of things..but i bet you dont belong to a state like Bihar or UP because the last time i felt safe in that state was when Rajeev Gandhi was the prime minster..you say they took Economy backwards for 25 odd years, did India really had a economy before them..they made some wrong decisions, everyone does..but remeber most of the time while they were in the power -they had a mandate, there was only them without any collation and both Rajeev and Indira Gandhi didnt loose a election but were assasinated..Congress had never been the same, and Rahul is inexperienced but that doesnt mean you can negate what this two people have done for the country (dude, libralisation happend because of congress and maybe thats one reason a single person who is educated and wants to work is employed in the country today..i hope you dont work for IT or a call center otherwise you will only be just another ungreatful dumbwit who are unable to have an opinion of their own because they know less..)you detest the partition,i am glad it happend other wise you would be blaming some party today because they didnt let it happen..because people like you can only complain..honestly,when was the last time you casted ur vote.

Check your fact, Indira did loose in 1977 and Rajeev in 1989. So most of your arguements are baseless. Country was deprived from liberalisation by congress for years. They did not have any options other than opening Indian markets after signing GATT under US-pressure. Growth of IT and communication was much rapid and widespread during NDA rule and NDA rule only saw infrastructural growth.

lol..i know Indira Gandhi lost after emergency and Rajeev lost in 1989 but when they were Assasinated they both were in power. While Indira had a anti-USA approch Rajeev Gandhi helped in improving the bilateral relation with USA.He introduced measures significantly reducing the License Raj - allowing businesses and individuals to purchase capital, consumer goods and import without red-tape and bureaucratic restrictions..and as far as libralisation is concerned i do remember NDA sitting in the opposition and making a hue and cry about it..lol, NDA just capitalized on the momentum provided to them, its not that i am a fanatic for any of the parties,i just feel that only looking at mistakes someone made and completely disregarding the good things they did is not fair..and maybe thats why i am only trying to defend these two ppl, you look like a reasonable man because you seem to know what you are talking about, wont you agree Kashmir, UP,Bihar,MP were safer when either of these two was in power..

Till Indiraji, it was very nice. It was OK with Rajiv considering his inexperience. It was economically bright in PV Narsinha Rao's time though morally down due to buying MPs. But thereafter everything lost. If a horse crosses a horse, a horse is born (Indira), If a horse is crossed by a Donkey, a Khacchar is born (Rajiv)and if Khachhar crosses a donkey, what born I dont know (Rahul). This is the legacy of congress.
