Bihar has tremendoud potential. I ahve some Bihari friends, educated and successful. They tell the tale of hardships they had to undergo before for this success. They studied under kerosene lamps and cracked IITs, IPs, and UPSCs. We heard the super 30 from Patna. These are incredible stories of human spirits conquer all. The state with such hardworking and intelligent people can't always lie in the dump. Its the failing of politiacns there who have wasted a great human resource for a long time. This are streted looking up. I plead all the succesful people from state to spread goodness.

I understand your love for your home state dude. And it's true that Bihar has been runied not bcoz of it's people but b'coz of people like Laloo & Ram Vilas Paswan. However, I wish to clarify 1 small matter : Many Biharis love to quote the admission lists of IITs to prove that ALL Biharis are super intelligent. I don't fully agrre with that assessment. Lemme explain why : Many students in Bihar and UP give up 2-3 years of their college education & devote themselves FULLY to IIT preparations. They form groups of 4-5 students and cut themselves off from the rest of the world and do nothing but prepare for IIT-JEE. They even give up studying other subjects; forget sports, leisure, entertainment, all-round development, etc. In effect, they turn from students into JEE cracking machines. This is a sad state of affairs, bcoz the IITs don't look for such "crammers/muggus/machines"; instead they want people who are genuinely talented/intellectually gifted capable of deep, intense thinking & reasoning. And such people are really rare to find & it's improbable that they'll be all concentrated in 1 particular state/region(however much that appeals to one's emotions/ego) Hence, such a brute-force approach by UP/Bihar/Rajasthan students is actually damaging the IIT brand and harming the system.
