Every once in a while comes a column which brings to the forefront a truth so bitter to swallow but whose taste lingers on for a long time always poking the inner self to do something as a fellow Indian. It would be great if Rediff can also with every such valuable issue post links to NGO and other social organisations fighting for such causes with whom individuals can get in touch and be a part in some form or other. Definitely there are many NRI who read and feel motivated to something in some minute way which would help in a great way - would also be a good way for the Site to be a social bridge

hi, I dont understand why everyone targets NRI and politicians to make changes in our country. Since I am also an NRI now I dont thing all the NRI's has to come forward. I am not supporting the NRIs, It is not NRIs duty to work a lot outside the country and to give the money to the poor in India. NRIs are also like other indians they are not different from others. The growth and richness to country comes only when we know how to be proud to be an indian and self-dependent. Imagine 10,00,000 NRIs give all there money to the poor in india, will india become rich or at least few poor become rich.... No way. India will become rich only one every indian know what he is and what he must do for his wellfare. I think most of them dont know what they want, they just know to ask what others use to ask. This is my personal belief.
