Kakodkar is the gorilla in the room, say US lobbyists

It is one of the sad day in the history of India and US relations. Calling the most respected and decorated Scientist of this great Country as gorilla is an insane act. The lobbyists are highly opportunistic always and works with vested interests. In the case of India , the Scientific Community puts Country as important to them than their family. India is a responsible nuclear power. It behaves as a responsible nuclear power always. Terming Kakodkar is tainted him self is most objectionable on the part of the lobbyists. Every one around the world knew who are tainted . Kakodkar is a true Indian patriot and highly dedicated Scientist of this country. US Lobbyists should desist this kind of cheap technique attacking a frontline science manager of this country in a derogatory manner of out motherland. It is very cheap for US to call him tainted himself for practicing patriotism for his country . Many high dignitaries of US are also tainted . there is nothing wrong for working country . All the treaties are deals should be win-win not like win US and loose others policy.

The westerners always put some catchy sentimental words into their talk when they cant get their way out. And when we do the same, they want to snap to the point. As if there are no better words in english at all. Dont keep polishing their shoe

No need to get emotional. It just means Kakodkar is tough to deal with and does not tow US line.

If you are so sentimental, let an Indian express frustration like: Rice is a witch to deal with. Or Nick burns is a 50 pound poison thorn.

"gorilla in the room" is a figure of speech!!
it is used to imply something really obvious which nobody wants to talk about. Here it means that Dr.Kakodkar is the most obvious person to explain Indias positions and convince the skeptics in USA that India is not going to misuse the fuel bought from the US and that nobody is willing to send him to the USA to do that.
Dont hate the USA so much that your judgement is skewed so badly!!

Such stupid words are not required when talking about someone dignified. You can use that kind of talk on your friends or yourself. Good or bad, no need such things when it comes to not so simple matters.
