i agree with you. While this girl's death is indeed a tragedy, the media seems to be focussing excessively on it, perhaps because she is an Indian student in the US. Bigger tragedies are happening around us but don't get much attention. The media is unfortunately populated with a certain class of people whose priorities seem to have gone off-track.

First of all, I would like to extend my hearty condolances to Minal. May your soul rest in Peace.

Now, Sajid Khan, I agree with you.. You know what all the messages in this section is filled by the EF'd up NRIs in the US. The guys/gals consider themselves to be the most intelligent people on the earth. Intrestingly there will be many people are against the current Govt. but these EF'd up poeple are always in support of them. All we have to do is to just pity these people.

Not all people are poor an helpless because they never got a chance to improve. They simply didnot take the opportunity provided to them.
We donot exist for sole purpose of providing the poor and helpless.
We have the right to help a little and enjoy our life too.
Before shouting at others, tell me what you have done.
Donot become a moral police about what people should and shouldnot feel.
What better are you from religious fundamentalist??
Only that leftist a**holes like you continously play the victim card and extort the society emotionally.
You will make a good media person, they belong to clan of thinkers like you.

Mr.Khan is absolutely right. He is refering to the national attitude.Selfstyked nationalists please appreciate and mend ur ways. Dont try to disintegrate us. Accept the truth. It has become a fashion and a status symbol for some to be (not fall) in line to speak for or against NRI What did our nation loos or gain? Does it mean that we do not have good educational institutions that people run out of this country for higher studies? Are we so poor in education? remember ours is the land of most ancient and best universities. You are quite right Mr.Khan

Thanks Mr Khan for posting such a reply. This is worst you can expect. She was a lady trying to make her future in a distant land. Also I am not sure what is your profession. But for these BAD NRI the opinion of the world wouldn't have had changed so much in these past 20-30 yrs i.e. from the land of snake charmers to a land of gifted people. Go to any part of the world and ask people what they think about Indians and this is what I really heard -- "Indians are great guys with very sharp brains".

Also it is wrong that we dont report issues about a mishap but that doesn't mean that if some thing bad happens to some Indian(be it in ay part of the world) we must close our eyes. We must really feel sorry for the pain this family has to suffer.
