It is vry pathetic that the indian government wakes up when there is a crisis or a disaster. Otherwise just look at the way we get treated when we land in any of the indian airports, every guy there right from immigration to customs is there to fleece an NRI or create a pshycological pressure making the person returning to inida feel un easy. Any teatment for this or we too need to die or get killed someday for the government to do its part

Hi On, Don't you think the Airport treatment in India is much better then that of in London or America. I felt so humiliated when I landed in Heathrow bcoz of the checks I have to go through just because because I am Asian. Same in Taxes as well. I feel NRI should change there mindset and should not arrive at our Airport with a attitude that they should be treated as VIP just because they are NRI.

India is home country. London or texas are foreign country. Immigration control in London heathrow or texas do not create misery for their own citizens...
Indian immigration control and customs department abuse Indians arriving or departing from India itself.
Bad treatment from foreign country can be understood but home country??? come on!!!!!!!

it is rediculous to make a generalised comment as if UK & USA customs/immigration are torturing all incomers. I hav visited USA thrice and everytime the treatment was fine and not at all harsh.See it is their duty to ask questions and check baggages.What is wrong in it?Do they rob our belongings as happensin India.So dont compare india with others.Our India is unique in all respects,b a govt servant or a politician, everyone loots openly. If u resist,well there are goondas to treat u.Nothing but mafia gangs operate in the name of checkers.Down with hell, India will never improveman.Better dont comment about others before knowing what is available at home.
