Just anyone will agree with the fact that the Korean students in the US (and for that matter most far-east Asian students) tend to become loners due to their inability to converse freely in English. Not to forget the strong regional values which are not in sync with western value system. I think a little amount of understanding for these people and appreciation of their background by the westerners would go a long way in reducing such kind of outbursts.

Your reasoning does not have any logic , The killer is doing a majors in English (that's what the media say) . So can he be not proficient in English
