All, When our own people (Kashmiri Pundits) being masaccared by terrorists and more than 100 die in homicides, murders in our great country no one is bothered, but why people(we Indians) are so worried about the Korean and his act. Our great proffessor went to USA to develop Americans, and he is a USA citizen... When Americans and rest of world are not worried about terrorists killings in India and even our own people are not worried about happenings in India , then there is no point in thinking or discussing about happenings in USA. I wish all Indians to be more sympathetic towards people affected by terrorists in India rather than towards America....

agreed...why are we bothered so much for those ppl....we should be bothered for our won ppl..whom we dun give a damn...hundereds of our ppl hav died bcoz of terrorism, hundreds of women hav been raped, hundreds of inhuman crimes but sadly we turn a cold shoulder for these things happening in our own homeland, or country....sad, but its true that we are bigger hypocrites than those Americans, whom we are not tired of calling hypocrites.

I absolutely agree with you. We actually are the hypocrites. We always turn a deaf ear to the massacres happening in our own country and put forward an ever listening ear towards any damn thing happening in USA. Actually, we all have the bloody habit of thinking USA as land of dollar and luxury, and the aspiration to reach here by hook or by crook and that is why we get shaken by anything that happens in this country. Harshuk was right saying that the professor who got killed was a US citizen and was developing Americans and not Indians. So we should definitely mourn his death but thats it, nothing more he deserves from Indians. We must get rid off this slavery habit and focus on the greatness of our India and dream about making our coutry a developed one from a developing one.
I know my comments are going to cause outrage amongst Rediff readers staying in USA thinking that I am writing these just out of jealousy that I wasn't a issued a US visa etc etc. To clear out those doubts, I also stay in US in Texas but I give a damn to whatever bull shit happens here, rather I tend to read every minute event occuring in my India.
