Dr.G.V. Loganathan was my PUC batch-mate (1970-71) in St. Josheph's College, Trichy as well as BE batch-mate (1971-76) in PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. We stayed in the same college hostels.
He was a very good chess player and a nice person to move with. He went on to do M. Tech as well as Doctorate at Kanpur IIT. I lost contact after he went to USA.
This a cruel-some murder. All our batch mates are grief stricken. I offer my heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family members.
