'India exploited circumstances in 1971 to dismember Pak'

What was done in 1971 was a brilliant strategic move that clipped the wings of pakistani air force forever. India rightly used the prevailing situation of the mistreatment of East pakistanis to its advantage. Whether one likes Mrs gandhi or not as far as 1971 was concerned, she was truly brilliant, as was she in taking Sikkim. The Indian Army, Airforce and Navy did a splendid job and delivered Pakistan and its overt adventurism the death blow. One wonders if India will ever get a leader of her courage as far as snubbing the US and defending India's interests goes. That said the 1971 war was an aconomic disaster and India paid dearly. And at best, Bangladesh is an ungrateful neighbour.

It was due to brilliance of Indian Army, Airforce, Navy. But Sam Manekshaw was on his best. He told Indira Ghazi Khan to stop her mouth in the famous meeting. It was due the Bravery of SAM. But Indira did the famous mistake in Simla Agreement and left PAK army without any precondition. Due to that Gandhi family, now all Hindus are forced to leave Kashmir and they are refugees in their own country.
