A few days back Sri Narayanamurthy of Infosys (a person who has done a lot to boost the country's international image in IT) was asked to apologize for playing rather than singing the national anthem *(which he only did as a gesture to the many foreign guests assembled though he himself participated in the singing).
Rahul Gandhi has made a statement which hurts the credibility of the country and blackened the image. We should not be surprised if this issue finds its way to the UN.
Rahul Gandhi should apologise for his irresponsible statement which is the greatest insult to the nation and keep out of Politics for a few years.
Mr Manmohan Singh described this man as the future of UP. God save UP!

If Indira Gandhi didn't separate Pakistan, then who did? Although it may not be ethically right to claim responsibility,it still remains a fact. Indira Gandhi launched a diplomatic offensive in the early fall of 1971 touring Europe, and was successful in getting both the United Kingdom and France to break with the United States, and block any pro-Pakistan directives in the United Nations security council. Gandhi's greatest coup was on 9 August when she signed a twenty-year treaty of friendship and co-operation with the Soviet Union, greatly shocking the United States, and decreasing the possibility that the People's Republic of China would become involved in the conflict. China, an ally of Pakistan, had been providing moral support, but little military aid, and did not advance troops to its border with India.
