well, I would like to tell yogesh and ken 1.Its basket of currencies deteremine the rate of exchange. what's that? who does that? 2.Its simple Mr. Ken. If you wan to remove the taxes/duties as part of the GLOBALIZATION move, then why not remove the barrier of different currencies. pl ken, specify still the unclear part.

man in reality according to cost of living the real effetive exchange rate of doller is 12-4 rupees so dont expect doller to be equal to rupee.we can bring it out to 24 rupees but the information tecnology people wont leve it to happen.

you do not understand economics. our currency rate is in our control. we can change it when we want. you make $1=Rs1 and the one rupee chocolate in india will cost Rs 40.

TO itsME, TELL me the economics if i don't understand. Read my resources content and not just currency. you dont breath by eating currency nor travel on a currency note. dont give so much significance to curency as we gave to BRAHMA. Its another SLAVISH SUPERSTITION. Shed all western economic superstitions.
