The article clearly says" It is generally believed that Gandhi's model of Swaraj has not been followed by the Indian government. He had wanted a system of a classless, stateless direct democracy.[12] For achieving this he wanted to disband the Congress Party after independence. He said, "Its task is done. The next task is to move into villages and revitalize life there to build a new socio-economic structure from the bottom upwards."[13] However none of these objectives were achieved when India became independent. India, although a federation, got a strong central government. Representative democracy, rather then direct democracy was adopted. The Congress Party was not disbanded. Rather it went on to become one of the frontrunners in running the government of India."

muneer, how come you equate BJP with taliban? taliban ruled based on hardcore islamic 'values'. BJP ruled based on Indian values. most of the opeing up, including this communications sector, which includes Internet, happneed during BJP. THIS is what enables you to write crap about BJP. If BJP were like taliban, they would have had a 'closed' outlook like the congressis.

Muneer, Godse was an individual. There was no BJP at the time. Also, what Godse did was what he felt right. He also wrote a book where he explained everything - that book was banned. Let us first have that book republished so that we can have an open debate rather than blindly following gandhi and connecting RSS with godse.

bjp govt is the best govt it works really fast n for india to suceed v van bjp govt ther r lot of issues which are ther such as quota this sugeest that congress only for bahujan samaj ppl bjp is for all so all of u remember that if u elect congress then all general ppl are at loss
