No doubt he is a good businees man but Narayana Murthy's remarks on the national anthem are act of racism and disrespect to the Nation. Converting the National Anthm might be one of marketing policies to please WHITE SKIN or it colud be a Joke for him But many who had given their lives to keep Nation intact this is a matter of disrespect, It is pointed out by the President of Nation we should respect it. Narayana Murthy knows his mistake that is why he apologized. His apology to the Nation does not make him Small.. he is not above the Nation

LOL in south India most of them don%u2019t know Hindi and no one cares about the national anthem meaning they don%u2019t know the words so they don%u2019t know what it means that does not mean they disrespect the national anthem and what has the government done about this problem? Have they translated the national anthem in all the Indian languages ?

I personally, feel if there is any South Indian reading any message of a kind demoralizing our individuality lets Report that persons message as Abuse...after many abuses against that person..he will be kicked out of posting messages. Damn these guys who unnecessarily create issues and pull others leg...create disputes within Indians.

NRN is not an elected representative, he is not an armed forces officer, he is not a beauraucrat, he does nor represent the nation and he is not a leader. His choice of words are his personal matter. If a homeless urchin libels the national flag or anthem on the streets, none of you would care to even interfere, would you? Why would you then when someone like NRN does it, he does nor represent you nor the nation. Mind your own business. And its definitely not a question of north vs. south, hindi vs. english, bengali vs. kannada or whatever nonsense you want to attribute to it.
And yes, he is an achiever, I salute him for whatever he's achieved, things that all you (and me) have not even attempted.

I agree with you, but at the same time with knowledge, success and stature comes a responsibility. A man of such stature should make sure that he does not do or say things that are inappropriate. He has apologized and thats about it. This chapter shall be closed.

India is only country where you can say that becuase constitution gives freedom ... His choice of words could be anything but he cannot tell foreigners this our National Anthem ...He is not begger on the road..He is leading few people like you ..who can blindly follow him for anyhting he says and sings ... He do represents institutions like IIM ..where BIG shots of the country comes out and when President to go to him so he is big person and people salute him ..He must watch his actions
