Our national anthem was written to welcome Queen Victoria II when she set her foot in India at the Gateway of India.
The anthem praises her and calls her the "Bharat Bhagya Vidhata". And after 60 yrs of independence, we Idiots are still singing the song as our national anthem.. and praising the british !
HOW DUMB !
It is better to play it Instrumental, atleast we don;t have to sing those words of praise for the British who took away all our wealth.

Named as Superman, how can you behave like such a stupid man. First of all, the controversy around this song was not beacause it was not written for Queen Victoria II but it was for King George V's vist to India. So have your history correct in the very first place. Also I think you have problem understanding English because Wikipedia site also clearly says the actual history behind this song. This is a completely wrong statement. The anthem was not written for Quenn Victoria. Please read more about hitory from authentic sources rather than colecting information from trash websites

But its true.. she was bhagya vidhata ;) who introduced Train, electricity, road, cars, communications (phone etc), Radio!! , Hill stations, Capitalism, India to the WORLD.. U need to congratulate her and thank her for that man!! ;)

I agree...or we would have not come out of our squabbling on caste religion region language and cultue...and would have had no time to think about building all this in the country..Its definitely thanks to the British that we got a basic infratructure in the country...
