the article is correct in saying that one end meerut is progressing at very fast rate but at the same time religion plays an important role and not the cast. ya the crime rate and condition of schools are two concerning things here.in late 80's and early 90's it was a hub of conflicts between two community but now the condition is improved much.

Well i agreed that Meerut is the hub of all the major development especially construction. The people have changed a lot in termes of their dressing sense and comsumption pattern which is quite evident from the places like PVS, begam pul etc. But irrespective of all these changes, there is still lot of blocking in the minds of the people regarding religion and sometimes small clashes take wild look thnks to all the communal parties who are ready to count the votes based on fuming such clashes. The other major concern is the condition of roads which is pathetic. None of the elected member considers deelopment as a tool to polarize the votes rather they go for religion as the deciding factor.
But this time EC seems to be hard against all such activities. this time the election is expected to be "Fair". Lets see tomarrow on 13th.
