Myth of ''Upper caste poors''
by Kittu on Apr 14, 2007 01:00 PM   Permalink

Dalit Bahujan/OBC/Muslims should not recognize the boogie of so called "Upper caste poors". Poverty cannot be related to Upper castes. Poverty in India is defined alone around the image of Bahujan samaj which is at the verge of civic society.

Lets not get deceived by the notions of "poor Brahmin". There is nothing like a poor Brahmin. Coversly, even if a Dalit becomes rich, he ramains socially backward and stigmatized. The definitions of poverty is still applicable to him as he is yet to get free from caste barriors.

Dalit/OBC/Muslims should not recognize or acknowledge poor upper castes. This is a ploy to prevent reservations law.
