N ORMALISATION IN J & K,
by Satyanarayan Thakur on Apr 09, 2007 08:49 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Mr. Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, is professing that peace has returned to the valley, crime rate and terrorism is much reduced, so the Govt. of India must commence the act of withdrawel of army with immediate effect. But at no time and nowhere he or his party P.D.P., HAS EVEN MENTIONED ABOUT THE RETURN AND REESTABLISHMENT OF THE DISPLACED KASHMIRI HINDI PANDITS AND SIKH BROTHERS TO THEIR HOME LAND, when they have been living like nomads outside. The issue of normalcy can be achieved only when all the displaced Kashmiri pandits AND sikh families are safe back in their homes and their security is ensured. It is only then one should talk of the army's reduction and final withdrawel. TILL THEN THE STATUS QUO ANTE MUST BE MAINTAINED. even though at present the Congress party for its narrow interest of REMAINing in power with the help of PDP is in a reconciliatory mood.

prof. S.S.Thakur.

Yes, there cannot be satsfactory solution to so called Kashmir problem; unless all Pundits and sikh brethern are returned to Kashmir and get back their properties. In fact leaders like Mufty shd demand abolition of clause 370; so that Kashmiries will also realise that they are p part of India. It is to their benefit only.
