I think if you have read the Ramayan..you would not ask such Question..none the less..Let me answer. Ram always lived as a oridinary man..never did he display his power as a God...There is only one place he shows that he is a God..Where Ravan sends his reserve force as a last resort and the 14th year is comming to an end..when Ram sees the reserve force he is reminded of Baratha his devotee who had promised to enter fire..to protect his devotee.. he turns 1/2 the reserve force of people looking like Ram another 1/2 looking like Ravan...thus imploding the reserve force. Ram always acted as a common man..never showed he was God.
