Hinduism is Culture
by tharun on Apr 09, 2007 09:33 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Hindhuism is not just religion, it is the culture. The Indian culture is based on Hinduism. We are all of different religion but the basic culture is same. Like any other culture it may have some bad things like caste problem which we have to correct it, but don%u2019t bad mouth about it.

Also for the sake of argument some people are give wrong scientific reasons about Tsunami. The Tsunami prone countries like Indonesia are at South East direction of India and Kerala is on the West coast. The Ram Sethu (Adam%u2019s bridge) is on the east coast, atleast 200km north of Kanyakumari. If at all any thing can stop the Tsunami waves hitting Kerala is the Sri Lankan Island not the Ram Sethu. If it is proved that it is Ram Sethu, we have to fight to protect it, but not for wrong reasons.

i AM UNABLE TO UNDERSTAND , WHY THESE PEOPLE ARE ARGUING WHETHER IT IS MAN MADE OR NATURALLY FORMED. IT IS THE BRIDGE MENTIONED IN RAMAYANA - SO WE BELIEVE IT WAS USED BY RAMA. THIS IS ENOUGH. IT SHOULD BE PROTECTED.
