T he supreme court of india is doing lot of good work in negating the legeslations made by parliament and assemblies only keeping vote bank in view.the idea of giving more weight is alright but how many of our elected reprsentatives are deserves to be in that august houses.criminals, terrorists , black marketars, land grabbers, scammesters, brokers and what not are getting elected to these hoses on strength of muscle and money power.the so called laws passed by them are only to keep their intrests at topbut not public intrest. ours is a democratic country only on paper.at times one fells shy call our self democrats.the types of scams taking place in the country and involvement of politicians of different levels indicates that democracy will nioot solve problms.an immiedete action like hanging fellows involved in scamsis only the solution. had there not be a check like supreme court the country might have been mortogaged by this time.

Do you think the corruption is only in Politics? Our judiciary system itself is corrupted. Even Chief Justice himself admitted it. So the movement against corruption is a must which should be made very soon!

Dear Palakkadan, you are right, but just by putting comments on rediff.com, we cannot start a movement against corruption be it in government, judiciary or any other institution...

As you said, corruption is not only in politics but also is legislature. Same goes for backwardness..it's not only in case of OBC or SC or ST...it's there in others as we and hence financially backward classes should be uplifted not a particular community...
