Judiciary Does Not U'stand People!
by Ismail on Apr 08, 2007 04:57 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Judges need to be more sensitive to political and social demands. They seem to be passing judgements as if social issues can be decided by applying some kind of mathematical formulae.

Judges do have shortcomings as any other human beings. They are not error-proof.

I agree with Sheila Das comments below.

Ismail your elected representative has not solved any social issues either. The Judiciary is not dumb to pass judgements based on mathematical formulas. They are the only sane people we general public can depend on. Of course the elected representatives does a lot of mathematics before passing a bill to see where they get the maximum benefits.

Judges do not need to understand the political & social demands, otherwise it will become another political wing. The judges should scrutinize each issue without bias as a third party. Fortunately, our judiciary system is right on this path. There is no need to advise judiciary by political leaders like Manmohan Singh. For the sake of the country, please keep judiciary out of the blame game.
